Found this article on toms hardware which is pretty informative....

Found these VGA power supplies which look pretty cool

and allow you to do this :D

Run 3 x GX2s ie 6 GPUs - Apparantly good for folding as they can use multiple GPUs not in SLi.

Saw this interesting article on nvidia about running 2nd graphics cards as physx cards instead of SLI. Basically any old nvidia gfx higher than a geforce 8 can do this apparently

BTW have you ever measured the current that beast draws under load at home? ;)

The llamalan admins will be glad to hear that is not my rig.

I have the same PC, a dell xps 720, but only one 8800GTX in it currently :D not the 3 GX2 this guy has

Wow Ive just seen how much those top end xps workstations cost, they are some seriously overpriced rigs.
