Friday 3rd June 2016:

Arrived at the venue around 12:30. After getting the tables and chairs laid out. We then worked on getting the power laid down. Next for laying out was the network cabling. Getting the projector and sound system in place and up and running. So that when people arrive, there being background music. The first two guests arriving at around 3pm and the rest between 6pm-7pm. This being due to distance travelled and traffic. The evening being rather relaxed. With a couple of games of Flat Out 2 and Quake 3 Arena played by some for practice and testing. Having some Domino's delivered for evening meal.

Saturday 4th June 2016:

People seemed to sleep ok. Most going for having a breakfast barm to start the day from Greggs. The first tournament taking place around 10am. This being Flat Out 2. There being a warm up round and then a tournament round. The winner being: James Poole (sargara). After a break flowing into the second tournament. This being Quake 3 Arena. There being a number of warm up rounds and then the tournament itself. The winner for this being: Matt Foy. This being by default after an admin team member: Mark Surtees (surtees2008) actually did win and admin team members not aloud to win and so defaulting to the next highest scoring person. With lovely weather we then have a bbq. But putting a pot budget together and the food being got from a local butcher. Later on after some pratice the Dawn Of War Soul Storm tournament took place. The winner for this being: Ben Gadsby (stabbymcstoo). This winner being picked from the host of the tournament: James Poole (SarGara). Earlier the Flat Out 2 tournament was hosted by: David Wright (daz156). The Quake 3 Arena Tournement was hosted by: Lee Barnett (Squeek). Later on the evening a fun game of Artemis was had. Also some practice took place for the Race The Sun tournament.

Sunday 5th June 2016:

On the Sunday, the final day. People awoke to a table booked for all for some breakfast at a place in the village. Returning from this back to the venue. We were one person down as they had to get there train for heading back home. We did the Race The Sun tournament on the projector. The winner for this being: James Poole (sargara). We then moved straight on to the Trackmania tournament. This being kindly directly sponsored by Nadeo. With prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Also a little something for everyone that took part in this. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd for this being: 1st James Poole (sargara) 2nd Mark Surtees (surtees2008) 3rd Matt Foy (matt). Soon after this we started to pack up and people headed home. The venue being empty and all gone by 6pm. This then bringing to a close Apache Lan 14.
