Day 1 – Friday 24th February 2012:-
Arrived at the venue at 2pm in order to set up. With being alone this time I could only do so much myself. With everyone else starting to arrive from 5:30pm onwards and happy to help with the remaining setting up that needed doing. People were planning to start to arrive a little earlier but sadly the traffic for some was awful. By 9pm all had arrived and were enjoying a bite to eat for evening meal. Today being for people to arrive, settle in and get some practice ready for the start of the tournaments on Saturday morning. Also people looking forward to the arrival of Game Beast at 9am on Saturday morning. Game Beast being a truck trailor that has been fully kitted out with consoles. Photos of which can be seen below at the bottom.

Day 2 – Saturday 25th February 2012:-
Game Beast arrives at 9am and is setup for 9:30am for everyone to enjoy. The first tournament of the day started at around 10am. This being Quake 3 Arena with everyone joining in and all having fun. Which followed suit through out all of the tournaments. After a break for all to do what they wish the second tournament begins with this being Flat Out 2. After a break and with a tournament taking place in Game Beast. We move into the third tournament for the PC. This being on the projector with the sound system. With each person being called up to take a turn with a 3 minute time limit per person. The game being Ms Pac Man. Followed up straight away by the fourth tournament this also being on the projector with the sound system. With each person called up. The game being pinball and the limit per person being 3 balls with the highest score being the winner. This was the first time pinball had been tried as a tournament and seemed to be rather hard to follow scores wise by all. So with this in mind this not being repeated for future events. After a break for people to get what they fancied evening meal wise. The fifth tournament begins. This being Track Mania Nations with the time attack mode in play for all. A couple of practice rounds for people to warm up. Then a round as the tournament itself. One of the people actually brought an extra prize for an extra tournament that he arranged of Counter Strike Source. The winner of this being “bobmanuk” The prize being a laptop. The evening then being left for people to do what they fancy. With the remaining 2 tournaments of the weekend not being till tomorrow.

Day 3 – Sunday 26th February 2012:-
For breakfast most of us headed to the local Thorntons cafe in the village. After this we went into the next tournament which was Red Alert 3. Rolling then straight into the final tournament of the event and this being Unreal Tournament 2004. Straight after everyone then starting to pack away with the venue being empty for just after 5:30pm. The various types of games picked and voted for to cover different tastes and interests. Also being picked with choices that would work on various levels of specs of PC. The atmosphere as usual being relaxed and laid back. With everyone being welcome. Below you will find photos of the winners of the various tournaments and some group shots.
